David L. Collais

David L. Collais, 88, died Friday noon, March 22 at Burlington Hospital, where he had been a patient one day.

He was born Feb. 17, 1880, in Van Buren County, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Ann Robinson Collais. He was married to Katherine M. Walmer and later to Dott Myers, who survives. Before moving to Bonaparte he farmed north of Stockport.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Davis of Stockport; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Birmingham. Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harold Schirm of Farmington officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.
