Stanley Brombaugh
Stanley O. Brombaugh, a resident of Keokuk for the past 14 years, died suddenly Monday, April 1 at 7:25 a.m. at Graham hospital there.
Born July 23, 1929 in Bonaparte, he was the son of Glen S. and Marie Newman Brombaugh. On June 1, 1953 he was married to Martha Kelley in Commerce, Iowa.
He was employed at Keokuk Electro-Metals. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged Dec. 11, 1953.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stanley (Martha) Brombaugh; three daughters: Carolyn, Theresa, Tina, all at home.
His parents: Mr. and Mrs. Glen S. Brombaugh, Farmington; three sisters, Mrs. Orris (Clysta) Williams, Farmington, Mrs. Mary Stuart, Mrs. Ethel Graves, both of Jefferson, Ia.; two brothers: Gene Brombaugh, Farmington, David Brombaugh, Hillsboro; nieces, nephew and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. in the Schmidt Memorial Home, Keokuk, with the Pastor Donald E. Johnson officiating. Interment was in Oakland cemetery, Keokuk.
