Mrs. Sadie Williamson

Mrs. Sadie Taylor Williamson died at 10 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl L. Anderson, 319 East Division St., Kewanee, Ill., where she had been making her home.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Dover Congregational church, Rev. Philip Eckhoff officiating. Burial in Prairdie(sp) Repose cemetery, Dover.

Mrs. Williamson was born Mar. 11, 1866, in Dover, the daughter of John and Anna Huffman Taylor. A member of an old Dover pioneer family, she was educated in Dover schools, and spent most of her life in that community. She was married to Rev. Archelaus Williamson in 1886. Mrs. Williamson was a member of the Farmington, Iowa, Methodist church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Carl L. Anderson, Kewanee, Ill.; a step-son, Roy E. Williamson, Farmington, Iowa; a brother, Charles, of Dover; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband.
