JAMES DALE McINTOSH

James Dale McIntosh, 7, passed away Saturday night at his home in Keosauqua. He became ill April 14 with lymphoma and had been critically ill the past month. Iowa City doctors told his family May 19 that there was no hope for his recovery.

James Dale was the son of Carl and Eva Holton Huff and came to make his home with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. McIntosh, when he was 4 1/2 months old.

Besides his foster parents, he is survived by his foster brother and sister, Billy, 7, and Mary Ann, 3, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Huff of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church in Keosauqua with the Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple officiating. Burial was in the Center Chapel cemetery.
