THERON L. PARISH

Theron L. Parish, youngest son of Linnaeus and Jane Johnston Parish, was born in Clark Co., Mo. Jan. 2, 1879, where he grew to manhood. He passed away at General Rose Memorial hospital in Denver, Colo., Feb. 23, 1952 at the age of 73.

On Oct. 28, 1903, he was united in marriage with Claelia L. Therme, who survives. They established their home in Van Buren County, Iowa. To this union were born a daughter, Mrs. Merle Anson, now of Centerville, Iowa, and a son, Charles T. Parish, of Denver, Colo.

T.L., as he was familiarly known, operated a produce business in Keosauqua, Iowa, for 28 years. In 1947 they moved to Denver, Colo., where he became associated with his son in the ladies ready-to-wear business.

He was a member of the First Christian church of Keosauqua and of Keosauqua lodge No. 10 AF&AM, of which he was a Past Master.

Besides his wife, son and daughter, he is survived by the son-in-law, C.R. Anson and daughter-in-law, Cora L. Parish and the following grandchildren: Mrs. Marilyn Anson Barkalow of Webster, Wisc., Bill Anson of the United States Marines, Eleanor Joy and Charles T. Parish, J., of Denver, also one great-granddaughter, Vickie Lee Barkalow and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
