EMMETT DAVIDSON

Emmett Davidson, 56, a farmer and raiser of horses, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 2 at his home near Birmingham.

He was born March 13, 1910, at Washington, the son of Perry and Lena Jacobs Davidson. Dec. 28, 1938, he married Hazel Countryman.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Stanley of Birmingham; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Hall of Birminghad(err); two grandchildren; a brother, E.H. Davison of Fairfield; and five sisters, Mrs. Iva Jacobs, Birmingham, Mrs. Flossie Long of Richland, Mrs. Delcie Earll and Mrs. Mae Miller of Washington, and Mrs. Amy Williams of Keota. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Services were held Monday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Vander Linden officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
