Andrew Rex Leffler

Andrew Rex Leffler, 78, of 677 Minneola Ave., a resident of Clermont, Fla. for the last five years died Saturday, Nov. 4.

A former newspaper man, Mr. Leffler, was associated with the Ames, Iowa Daily Tribune and the Vinton, Iowa Cedar Valley Times. He retired from the Iowa Highway Commission in 1956, and at that time moved to Clermont, Fla.

Born Aug. 4, 1883, to A.J. and Lydia Vale Leffler near Stockport, Van Buren County, Iowa, the deceased attended Pella Academy and Iowa State College. He farmed for many years and helped organize the Benton County, Iowa Farm Bureau Cooperative.

Mr. Leffler married Dorothea Steen of West Liberty, Iowa, Jan. 29, 1910.

He leaves his wife, of the above address, and the following children: Wayne of Council Bluffs, Ia.; Allen of Johnston, Iowa; Owen of Birmingham, Mich.; Mrs. Beatrice Bolin of Kankakee, Ill. and Mrs. Mary Cook, Clermont, Fla. and 18 grandchildren and four great- (remainder missing)...
