Bruce Miller

Bruce Miller, 90, of Hillsboro, passed away Feb. 6, 1962 at the Henry County Memorial Hospital at Mt. Pleasant. He was born June 4, 1871 at Moundsville, West Virginia, the son of James and Sarah Lemon Miller.

He had lived most of his life in the Harrisburg and Big Mound vicinity and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was married on Jan. 13, 1897 to Daisy Brownlee, who preceded him in death as do his parents, one brother and four sisters.

Survivors include five sons, Ellis, Kenneth and Glen, Hillsboro rural, Rex of Bonaparte and Donald of Audubon; five grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Hillsboro Baptist Church at 2 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 8 with burial at Sharon Cemetery. Rev. Chester Werft of Stockport will officiate, assisted by Rev. Charles Grooms of the Hillsboro Baptist Church.
