Herbert McDonald

Relatives at Keosauqua have word of the death June 27 of Herbert McDonald at Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral and burial was there.

He was born at Keosauqua Aug. 71(err), 1901, the son of Frank and Josephine McDonald and grew to manhood here. He lived at Aurora, Ill. and for a number of years had lived at Las Vegas with his sister, Mrs. T.H. Nelson.

In addition to Mrs. Nelson there are two other sisters, Mrs. Harold Elliott of Aurora, Ill. and Mrs. Goldie Slutts of Ottumwa; also a brother, Lewis McDonald of Keosauqua. Mrs. Leonard Wolfe of Keosauqua is a niece.
