Mrs. Anna Parsons

Mrs. Anna Parsons, 90, a resident of the Mt. Sterling vicinity most of her life, died Wednesday, April 4 in the home of her niece, Mrs. Irene V. Hamberg, of Cantril. She had lived with her niece since September, 1960.

Mrs. Parsons was the daughter of John and Mary Hayes Wolfe, born in 1872, on a farm in the Home Prairie community. She was married to John C. Parsons of Mt. Sterling, who died in 1942. Four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. A sister, Mrs. Marie Wilson of St. Louis, Mo. and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Olive Wolfe of Mt. Sterling survive.

Services were held Friday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Sterling Methodist church. Elder Herbert C. Shaw of Cantril officiated. Burial was in the Wolfe cemetery at Home Prairie.
