Lennie Parish

Lennie parish was born in Scotland County, Mo., Dec. 19, 18??, and passed away at Mt. Sterling, Iowa, Nov. 15, 1961. He was the son of Roswell and Artin?? Parish.

On Dec. 23, 1915, he was united in marriage to Jessie Madden, who preceded him in death, Jan. ??, 1959.

He is survived by a son Clell of Luray, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Bill Davis of Morristown, Ar. and Mrs. Herman Kloewer of Keosauqua; five brothers, Otis of Memphis, Mo.; Elmer of Bloomfield, Leland of Keokuk, and R?? and Charles of Granger, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. William Chamberlain of Mt. Sterling and Mrs. Clifford Adams of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held at the Mt. Sterling Methodist church Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. Elder Herbert C. Shaw, of the Cantril Christian church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Richard Eis, Methodist pastor of Milton. The soloist was Keith Gaston, accompanied by Mrs. Ge?? Carnaham. Burial was in Harness cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
