LYDIA M. ROTH

Lydia Magdalene Roth, daughter of John and Mina Roth was born near Primrose, Iowa, Dec. 15, 1894, and departed this life June 20, 1942. Her age was 47 years, 6 months and 5 days. She had been ill for several weeks and was tenderly cared for by her sister, Mrs. Elzie Snider in Donnellson.

She leaves to mourn her passing, five brothers and two sisters, George Roth of Tyrone, Okla., Charles, Edward and Henry Roth of near Farmington, Mathilda McGreevy and Juhian of near Bloomfield and Emma Snider of Donnellson, also 15 nieces and nephews, other more distant relatives and a host of friends. Her parents and three sisters, Esther, Rosa and Anna preceded her in death.

Miss Roth received Christian baptism as an infant and when grown became a member of the Evangelical church to which she was a most faithful member until death. She was particularly interested in Sunday school work.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, a prayer was offered at the Page Funeral Parlor in Farmington, and the body was taken to Primrose church where Rev. Bergey officiated at the services. Interment was in Primrose cemetery.
