MRS. LECTA HALLOWELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Lecta M. Hallowell, 80, who had lived in the Salem community for 55 years, will be held today (Thursday) at the Salem Congregational church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in South Salem cemetery. Rev. Charles Grooms of Hillsboro will be in charge, Rev. Robert Penrod of Salem will assist.

Mrs. Hallowell was born Sept. 17, 1880 at Denova and died Monday, Nov. 28 in the Memorial hospital at Mt. Pleasant.

She was the daughter of Albert and Martha Lamm. She was married to C. J. Hallowell Aug. 24, 1899, he died July 14, 1960.

She was a member of the Woman's Society of the Salem Congregational church and of the Salem Women's Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Endersby of Hillsboro. Two brothers preceded her.
