C.M. Reeve

Funeral services were held at Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin, Tuesday, June 16 for C.M. Reeve, a former Keosauqua resident, who died at Ft. Atkinson Friday night, June 12. He had been in ill health but death came unexpectedly.

Graveside services were held at Hampton Wednesday afternoon, June 17. Hampton was his former home. He is survived by his wife Ruth, a son, Lt. Commander Delos Reeve of Norfolk, Va., a daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones of Washington D.C. and several grandchildren.

Reeve came to Keosauqua in 1927 to be the first manager of the Farmers Co-operative Creamery and held that position until 1947.

At the time of his death he was employed with the Hoards Dairyman, a dairy magazine company.
