Mrs. Agnes Snider died at her home in Billings, Mont., after a lingering illness, April 26, 1913, burial being on Tuesday of this week. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Lane, and was born in Henry township, this county, about forty years ago. Some ten or twelve years ago she was married to Rev. W. E. Snider, son of Geo. W. Snider of Cedar township. Most of their married life was spent in Montana. Her mother Mrs. A. H. Lane, of Keosauqua, and sister Mrs. Ora DeFord of Des Moines township, were at the bedside during the last weeks of Agnes' sickness and were present when the final summons came, as was a brother Alvis Lane, of Billings. Besides those named above she leaves to mourn their loss a husband, two daughters aged about 8 and 10 respectively, two brothers Edgar Lane, of Keosauqua, and George Lane, of New York City, and two sisters, Mrs. John Wright, of Keosauqua and Mrs. Lena Bennett of Kansas. An obituary will be published later.
