About 9 o'clock the evening of Sept. 23, 1915, Mrs. E. B. Kirkendall, one of the good women of the county, died at her home in Douds, aged about 81. She had been in declining health for some time. It will be remembered by the people of the county that her husband died nearly two years ago. Her maiden name was Mary Frazee and she became the wife of E. B. Kirkendall over fifty years ago. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, all of the children having been born in this county. Funeral services wre held in the M. E. church at Douds, at 2 p. m. Saturday, Sept. 25, in charge of her pastor, Rev. Hehner. Burial was in the Leando cemetery.

P.S. Since the foregoing was put in type we received an obituary of Mrs. Kirkendall from her pastor, which will be published next week.
