MRS. MAUD MCINTOSH
KEOSAUQUA -- Mrs. Maud McIntosh, 88, died today at 5 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient four weeks.
She was born July 31, 1875, at Mount Zion, the daughter of Arnold C. and Martha Van Eman Barker. Her marriage to Thomas Addison McIntosh took place Jan. 11, 1900, in Mount Zion. They lived in Bakersfield, Calif., for several years. Following her husband's death in 1912, Mrs. McIntosh returned to Mount Zion where she lived for the rest of her life.
She was a member of the Mount Zion Presbyterion [sic] Church.
Survivors include a son, Addison of Mount Zion; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Borders of Keosauqua, Mrs. Ruth Ellsworth of Lincoln, Neb., and Mabel Sanders of Santa Clara, Calif.; two brothers, Chester P. Barker of Mount Zion and A. C. Barker of Lewiston, Idaho; one sister, Josephine E. Barker of Mount Zion; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
One son, Russell of Keosauqua died in 1959. Four brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.
The body is at the Burnett-Catcott Funeral Home. The service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church with the Rev. R. M. Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Miller's Chapel Cemetery near Mount Zion.

Maud's husband was my second cousin. I would like to correspond with anyone researching this family.
