Diana F. Housholder, 80, of Silvis, IL, passed away February 19, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus surrounded by her family.

Services were held February 22 at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial was at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Diana was born February 10, 1937, in Farmington, IA, the daughter of Forrest and Reta Rider. She married Robert “Bob” Housholder July 6, 1958, in Farmington, IA. He passed away April 12, 2011. Diana worked at JC Penny, Wells School and retired from UTHS. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Diana was also an avid Cubs fan.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Jeanne) Housholder, Champaign, IL, Julie (Paul) Short, Rapids City, Robin (Tim) Hanley, Moline, Wayne (Suzy) Housholder, Davenport; grandchildren, Chad (Melissa) Short, Rapids City, Alexis (Adam) Meade, Davenport, Ethan Housholder, Champaign, Adam Short, Moline, Blaik Hall, Rock Island, Sean (Carlee Hoover) Hanley, Davenport, Mike Hanley, Moline, Mykala Housholder, Davenport; great-grandchildren, Haylee Short, Rapids City, Hunter Short, Rapids City, Mila Hanley, Davenport, Avigail Meade, Davenport, Atreyu Hall, Rock Island; sister, Joyce (John) Ellison, Dallas City, IL, sisters-inlaw, Betty Hogue, East Moline, Alice Brown, Silvis, and Shirley Rider, Farmington, IA.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Judy Giberson, and brothers, Sonny and Jack Rider.
