MYRTLE M. RUGGLES
BIRMINGHAM. -- Mrs. Myrtle M. Ruggles, 82, died Thursday afternoon at a nursing home at Wilton Junction, where she had been about six months. Her home was in Birmingham, where she was born February 9, 1878, the daughter of Nathan and Mary Ann Hope Moore. On November 29, 1905, she was married to Lee R. Ruggles, who died February 2, 1954. He was a Birmingham druggist. She was a member of the Methodist church and the P. E. O. sisterhood at Keosauqua.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Dorothy Ruggles of Iowa City, Mrs. Annabel Bell of Davenport, and Mrs. Mildred Meyer of Clarence, Iowa; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
The service will be Sunday at [torn]:30 p.m. (DST) at the Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. A. R. McMurrin, pastor. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. The body is at the Burch furneral [sic] home.
