COLIN CRAIG

Colin Craig, 67, farmer six miles northwest of Keosauqua, died at 5:30 a.m. May 2, in the Van Buren County Memorial hospital.

He had been brought to the hospital only a few minutes earlier.

He became ill Tuesday at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Son of John and Florence Pierce Craig, he was born on a farm near Keosauqua, Sept. 26, 1894.

He and Mabel Pendarvis of Keosauqua were married Aug. 22, 1916. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert of Keosauqua and John of Milton; two brothers, Harold Craig of Keosauqua and Kenneth of Appleton, Wisc.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Bloomquist of Burlington and Mrs. Russell Boley of Bloomfield. There are five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 4 at 2 p.m. at the Kilbourn Methodist church with Rev. K. Wayne Hoehns in charge, assisted by Rev. J. C. Austin. Burial was in the Pittsburg cemetery.
