LUTHER B. MCDANIEL

KEOSAUQUA. -- Luther B. McDaniel, 80, retired Keosauqua farmer, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Alfred and family, where he lived.

Born July 11, 1883, in Missouri he was the son of Thornton and Cassie Flick McDaniel. He was married to Nellie Gipson in 1908.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred of Keosauqua and Glen of Lake Zurich, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Hiles of Estherville and Mrs. Adalie Mustard of Terrell; and two brothers, James of Memphis, Mo., and Everett of Oshkosh, Wis. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Burnett-Catcott Funeral Home with the Rev. E. S. Tschetter officiating. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery.
