Laura E. Allen

Mrs. Laura E. Allen, 77, Fairfield, died at her home at 6:50 A. M. Tuesday, Feb 20.

She was born Sept. 16, 1890 in Birmingham, the daughter of Lincoln and Angus Gould Carson. Her marriage to Thomas C. Allen took place on Feb. 23, 1916 in Birmingham. He died April 26, 1948.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Fairfield WCTU.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hawthorne of Fairfield and Mrs. Thelma Coons of Jeffersonville, Ind.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services are pending in charge of Weston Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield
