Former Teacher In Van Buren Dies

Miss Mable Wiley of Cantril received word that her cousin, Mrs. Harold Avery, the former Miss Bessie Cavitt of Roseville, California, had passed away at the hospital following an operation June 2nd. Burial was held Friday afternoon, June 6, in California.

Miss Avery was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cavitt and was born, reared, and taught school in Van Buren County. She visited her cousin, Miss Wiley, and other relatives and friends here last fall.
