H.R. Clark, age 72, of Des Moines, passed away Monday evening at the University hospital at Iowa City, after a long illness.

He is survived by his widow, Anna Dunham Clark, four children, Mrs. Keo Brandt, Charley and Walter of Des Moines and Mrs. Leah Shriver of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren, one brother, J.T. Clark, one step-brother, Carl Dill, and one step-sister, Mrs. Linnie Dill of Mt. Hamill. One daughter, Mrs. Hazel Shriver, passed away in 1929.

The body was moved from Burnett's in Keosauqua Wednesday to the George Shriver home near Hillsboro.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Sharon church. Rev. C. Hugo Orf of Keosauqua officiating. Interment in Sharon cemetery in Lee county.
