WINFIELD S. COLLINS
The older residents well remember Winfield S. Collins, who died recently at his home, 1217 South Eighteenth street, in St. Joseph, Mo., [sic] He had made his home in that city for 23 years and had for some time been an elevator operator for the Western Tablet Co. His age was 70.
He was a native of Iowa and he and his family made there [sic] home for seven years in Bonaparte where he was employed in the woolen mills.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie May Collins; a son, Albert D. Collins of St. Joseph; and three daughters, Mrs. Oletha Jamison of St. Joseph, Miss Beatrice Collins at home, and Mrs. Edna Robers of Kansas City. Also by a sister, Mrs. Leota Clark of Des Moines; and a half brother, Herman Collins of Portland, Oregon.
