NEAL GREENFIELD

Neal Greenfield, son of William S. and Esther Greenfield, deceased was born west of Birmingham, Van Buren county, Iowa, March 20, 1885, and after a few days illness with influenza and pneumonia, died at Grant Hospital at Columbus, Ohio, March 21, 1938, at the age of 53 years and 1 day.

Mr. Greenfield spent his young manhood in the vicinity where he was born, them went to Omaha, Neb., where he had a position with the Sinclair Refining Co. In 1926 he went to Columbus, Ohio, acting as special representative and was working in the real estate promotion division. He worked for the Sinclair Co. 19 years.

He was a member of the McCoid Chapter, F.&A. in Fairfield, Iowa, and the United Commercial Travelers in Columbus, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, formerly Pearl Teeter; two sons, Edward and Neal Jr.; two daughters, Lucille and Margaret, all of Columbus; one brother, Charles of Birmingham; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie McKee of Birmingham, and Mrs. Edith Burden of Rock Island, Ill.

He was kind and loving to his family and faithful and considerate to his friends.

The unusually large floral offerings attested to the fact that he had a wide circle of friends, not only in Ohio, but in many other states.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.B. Rosemurgy at the Woodyard chapel. Burial was in the Union cemetery at Columbus.
