MRS. I.N. THOMPSON

Ella Nora Thompson, daughter of George and Viola Hardin, was born near Mt. Sterling, Iowa, March 24, 1872. In this vicinity she grew to young womanhood. She was united in marriage to Dr. I.N. Thompson June 16, 1897. To them was born one son, Leith of Oskaloosa. After their marriage they made their home in Keosauqua for a short time, from which place they moved to Bloomfield. Twenty-four years ago they moved to Oskaloosa to make their home. Mrs. Thompson became a Christian early in life and united with the Christian church and has been a constant and consistent Christian all through the years. When they went to Oskaloosa, the first Sunday they placed their membership in the church. She was deeply interested in the missionary work of the church and held various offices in the missionary society. Her faith and devotion deepened with the years. She passed away at her home at 414 High Ave. East, on Saturday morning, Feb. 26, at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 2 days and has gone to be with Him whom she loved and served. She is survived by her husband and one son, Leith, of Oskaloosa, one sister, Mrs. Ethel Fitzgerald of Chicago, and two brothers, Dr. F.L. Hardin and Clinton Hardin, both of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Funeral services were held at Oskaloosa with burial at Purdom cemetery at Keosauqua.
