E.G. PARKS
E.G. Parks, barber in Ottumwa for 15 years, died Sunday afternoon at his home. Services were held Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Earl Chader, with interment in Shaul cemetery.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and an infant son, and is survived by his wife, Via; a daughter, Julia, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Staubus of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Mae Loomis of Douds; two brothers, M.L. and M.F. Parks of Des Moines; and his step mother, Mrs. Anna Parks of Douds.
He was a son of Frank and Mary Parks and was born at Troy September 6, 1883.
