Robert C. Barker, 81, of Keosauqua, died November 3, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. He was born March 4, 1935, in Keosauqua to Kenneth and Cecile Miller Barker and married Sandra Lynn Lane on August 16, 1970, in the Little Brown Church, Nashua, IA.

Bob grew up in Stockport and Keosauqua, graduated from Stockport High School in 1955. He spent all of his adult life in Van Buren County on the farm. Bob was a member of the NRA. was an active member of the Miller Chapel Cemetery board, enjoyed hunting and farming and had also been in the National Guard.

In addition to his wife Sandra of Keosauqua, he is survived by a daughter, Christin "Christy” Ann Barker Wiley of Keosauqua,
and two grandchildren, Caitlin and Colton Wiley of Keosauqua. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were held November 7, 2016, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Larry Shipley officiating. Burial was in Miller Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Keosauqua.
