MRS. ANNA BENJAMIN
Anna Benjamin, 81, of West Point, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Dinwiddie in Ft. Madison, Wednesday morning last week after a 4-months illness.
She was born at West Point, August 10, 1863, and was married to Jacob Benjamin at Farmington, November 19, 1882. She was a member of St. Mary's church at West Point.
Surviving are three sons, Louis, Farmington; Herbert of Primrose; and Henry of Pontoosuc, Ill.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Mary Dinwiddie and Mrs. Rose Cooper, Ft. Madison; and Mrs. Louise Evans of Amarillo, Texas; 33 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in West Point Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. J.A. Wagner officiating. Burial was in the Calvary cemetery.
