IOWA, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5
WALLACE JORGENSON
(Aberdeen, Miss. Examiner)

Many friends, throughout the county will regret to hear of the death of Mr. Wallace Jorgenson, which occurred at his home Friday, Nov. 8th. Mr. Jorgenson had been on our streets the day before his death, but was apparently in his usual health. Death came as he slept. Mr. Jorgenson moved to our city Dec. 23, 1918, and was for many years manager of the 1200 acre "Slick Farm," a large cattle and farming venture, which he conducted with unusual ability and success. He was born and reared in Odessa, Mo., the son of a Confederate soldier. We are told that he afterward lived in Texas where he became the friend of the Slicks, who afterward became millionaire oil operators.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie McCrary Jorgenson of Aberdeen, formerly of Keosauqua, Iowa, two sisters, Miss Byrd Jorgenson, Odessa, Mo., and Mrs. Addie Dahlinger, Brighton, Colo., a brother, Dan Jorgenson, Odessa, Mo., and a niece, Mrs. Ellen Cutler, Brighton, Colo.

Funeral services were conducted from the home at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8th, with Rev. Seaman Rhea officiating.

Following the services, the remains were carried by train to Odessa, Mo. for services and interment, accompanied by Mrs. Jorgenson and friends.
