EARL STURDIVANT

Earl Sturdivant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank N. Sturdivant, was born at Bonaparte, Iowa, June 16, 1901, and died at his home at big Bear Lake, California, Jan. 16, 1947, at the age of 45 years and 7 months. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles with interment in Calvary cemetery.

His parents operated a Variety store at Bonaparte in the store room now owned by H.W. Noske and used as a part of his produce establishment. They went west in 1909 locating in California.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Bernard, and one daughter, Mary, of Los Angeles, also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.N. Sturdivant of Los Angeles. His death was caused by a heart attack.

Mrs. George Rigler, then Mary Carr of Centerville, was employed in the Variety store for several years and made her home with the Sturdivants.

Frank N. Sturdivant suffered a stroke several months ago and is confined to his home.
