--Miss Caroline Dingley left Friday for Oxford, Kansas, to attend the funeral of her cousin, Mr. Donald Nixon. His death was the second in this family in recent weeks as a brother, Irvin K. Nixon passed away on November 27. They are sons of Mrs. Mattie Proper Nixon, who at the age of 90 still resides at the farm home near Oxford which has been her home for 67 years. She is the sister of Worthy F. Proper of Bonaparte, and the widow of Moses Nixon, formerly of near Utica.
