ALBERT THEWS

Albert Thews, 49, a former resident of Lee county near Primrose, died suddenly of a heart attack on Nov. 19 at his home in Pendleton, Oregon, where he operated a sheet and metal shop. He moved from Prinrose to Oregon about 25 years ago.

Surviving are his widow; a son; two brothers, Theodore Thews of F. Madison and Otto Thews of Keokuk; a sister, Sister Theresa of San Francisco; an uncle, Wm. Thews of Farmington and an aunt in Illinois.

His father, August Thews, who lived in Farmington, died Sept. 25, while visiting him at Pendleton.
