CHARLES L. SADDLER

Charles L. Saddler was born near Bentonsport, Iowa, on Dec. 12, 1855, and died on Nov. 6, 1923, at the age of sixty-seven years, ten months and twenty four days.

He was united in marriage with Sarah C. Stackbarger at Bentonsport, Iowa, January 15, 1878, and to this union were born eight children, four son and four daughters. They are, George of Chicago, Ill.; Charles of Amarillo, Texas; Beird of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Ross of Ft. Madison, Iowa; Mrs. Jessie Weiher and Mrs. Myrtle Bennett of Bonaparte, Iowa; Mrs. Catherine Scott of La Harba, California, and Mrs. Nellie Jameson of Iowa City, Iowa. One child died in infancy. There are also thirteen grandchildren and a host of friends left to mourn his loss.

Funeral services and interment were held at two o'clock on Monday afternoon at the Bonaparte cemetery.
