F.P. ALEXANDER.

Franklin Pierce Alexander was born January 3, 1852, on a farm near Bonaparte, Iowa, and departed this life December 20, 1924, aged 72 years, 22 months and 17 days.

He leaves to mourn their loss his wife and six children: Mrs. A.E. Evart and Mrs. Edward Jones of Simpson, Kansas; L.E. of Coquille, Oregon; Mrs. R.B. Purviance of Mussleshell, Montana; and Otto and Olive, who were at home at Brookpart, Minn. One child, Clara Bell, preceded him in death in infancy.

He was a kind husband and father and a good neighbor, beloved by all in his community and leaves a host of friends to mourn his passing.

He was an old resident of this community, having spent all his life here until the spring of 1910 when he moved with his family to Brookpark, Minn.

He was of a patient, jovial nature always lookin on the bright side of life no matter how dark the day nor discouraging the work, always ready for a mile or a word of cheer. It was this cheery, happy nature which so endeared him to all who came within his acquaintance.

The end came very suddenly. He was preparing to do his morning work when stricken with a clot of blood on the brain which caused his death almost instantly.
