MISS ANNA SAMPLE

The death of Miss Anna Sample occurred last Wednesday, March 1, 1905, at their late residence in Mt. Sterling. The cause of death was perhaps pneumonia which developed from an attack of pleurisy. She was sick only about ten days.

The life of this subject was one of a worker in the cause of Christ, being a teacher in the Sabbath school for many years.

She was born July 9, 1847, at South Salem, Ross county, Ohio, and removed with her parents in May, 1856, to the farm north of Mt. Sterling and on this farm her life was spent. She with her brother Charlie and sister Mattie moved to the late residence in Mt. Sterling last October. Her friends and associates were always numbered among those of the best. The funeral was from the M.E. church, Thursday, March 2, at 2 o'clock, by Rev. J.W. Carson, assisted by Rev. Hiram Gilbert, her former pastor. Interment was in the Harness cemetery.
