Morris (Buck) Clare Muntz, 85, of Brookfield, OH, died August 1, 2016, at his home. He was born February 23, 1931, in Bonaparte, IA, the son of the late Bennie I. and Mabel (Brown) Muntz. He married the former Bonnie Skidmore on July 8, 1952. They shared 16 years of marriage until her passing September 6, 1968.

He was a graduate of Bonaparte High School, and was employed as an insurance representative with Packard Electric for 32 years, retiring in 1984. Morris was president of the IUE LOcal 717. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He enjoyed golfing, tinkering around and lawn work. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Combs of Brookfield, OH; daughter-in-law, Kathy Muntz of Southington, OH; grandsons, Ryan Hipple and Zachary Muntz; granddaughter, Katie (Jonathon) Rhodes;
great-grandchildren, Drayven, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Kiley and Zayin; and his beloved dog, Mocha.

Besides his wife, Morris was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Emma Stecker; brothers, John Muntz and Bennie E. Muntz; son, Morris Wayne Muntz; grandson, Jon Burr, and granddaughter, Madison Muntz.

In accordance with Morris” wishes no funeral service was held. Carl W. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
