Celestine A. “Sally” Stowe, 86, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away at 5:05AM on August 4, 2016, at the Kensington.

She was born on July 17, 1930, in Ft. Madison to Ben and Catherine Pollmeier Koellner. On November 2, 1969, Sally married Jack E. Stowe in Ft. Madison. He passed away on December 17, 1994. Sally was a member of Holy Family Parish, Altar and Rosary Society, where she held several offices, CLA and Daughters of Isabella. She also enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her stepson, Jack (Mary Gayle) Stowe of Gladbrook, IA, sister-in-law, Marge Koellner of Milton, IA; nieces and nephews, Dolores Riepe, Dennis Klesener, Ann Sanford, Jane Sanford, Thomas Klesener, Alvin Dunmire, Roger Dunmire, Larry Dunmire, Benjamin Koellner, Timothy Koellner, James Koellner, Dianna Holmes and Jerry Rabe; step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Forrest “Andy”, Kent; step-great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Anders, George and Forrest "James'. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Carl Koellner, Robert Koellner, Joseph Koellner and Richard “Norb" Koellner, three sisters, Mary Ann Dunmire, Genevieve Klesener and Marcella Rabe; one niece, one nephew, one great-nephew and two great-nieces.

There was a rosary recited at the King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory on August 5. The funeral mass was on August 6, 2016, at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Tim Sheedy officiating. The burial followed in Soldiers' Circle, Oakland Cemetery.
