Richard D. Greenfield, 73, of Fairfield, died September 10, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center, Fairfield. He was born August 2, 1943, in Douds to Cyrus H. and Alta Geneva Cooper Greenfield and grew up in Douds.

Richard married Judy Humphrey September 13, 1963, and they later divorced. He married Shirley Guo on August 12, 2010, in Las Vegas, NV. He worked at Louden Machinery Company, Fairfield, and currently owned and operated Dick's Auto Towing in Fairfield. He was a licensed private airplane pilot.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Dena Nordyke (Russell) of Biloxi, MS, a son, Tony Greenfield of Eolia, MO, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Sondra Dick (James) of Douds, three brothers, Dwain Greenfield (Lyn) of Douds, William Green
field of Davenport and Michael Greenfield (Debbie) of Douds. His parents and a brother, James Greenfield, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were September 14, 2016, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, with Pastor Danny Carey of ficiating. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds.
