OBITUARY.
MRS. DAVID WARNER.

(Martha) A. Warner, daughter of Geo. (and Sophia) Lewis, was born in Cam.. county, Ohio, June 16, 1833, and (died) at her home in Lebanon, Iowa, (June) 29, 1907, aged 72 years and 13 (days.) When two years of age her (parents) moved with her to Springfield, ... and the following year came to (Van) Buren county, Iowa.

(March) 11, 1852, she was united in (marriage) to David Warner and they (were) blessed with two sons and four (daughters,) three of whom passed on (before) the mother, one in infancy and daughters, Mrs. Emma Claflin and (Mrs.) Ella Strait, some years since. The deceased united with the (Presbyterian) church on Chequest Nov. 17, .... and moved near Lebanon, March .... and united with the M.E. (church) ... 17, 1895.

(Mrs.) Warner was never a very (strong) woman and for the last 3 years had been quite poorly. On June 19, she became very ill and was found to be afflicted with cancer of the stomach. She suffered very much until Saturday evening, June 29, when she passed away.

There remain to mourn her loss the aged husband, three children, eleven grandchildren, six great grand children and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were conducted from the home at the M.E. church by Rev. H.F. Gilbert, Sunday June 30, 1907.
