Mrs. J.L.T. Lawson.

Fairfield Ledger: Alice May Corry, daughter of Wm. and Eleanor Corry, was born on a farm near Birmingham, Iowa, January 16th, 1864, died 19th, 1919. She grew to womanhood in and near Fairfield, where she took an active part in social and church work.

October 3d, 1901, she was united in marriage to J.L.T. Lawson at the home of her sister, Mrs. Chas. H. Gage, removing to Garden City, Kas., where they made their home. Mrs. Lawson leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, J.L.T. Lawson, one daughter, Florence Eleanor, a sister, Mrs. Chas. H. Gage of Fairfield; two half-brothers and one half-sister, Wm. Burden of Birmingham; Andrew Burden of Baker City, Ore., and Mrs. John Donald of Seymour, Iowa; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lawson was interested in all good work for the welfare of the community, taking special interest in Red Cross work. The country loses a loyal citizen, the church a devoted supporter, and the home a loving wife and mother.
