Mrs. E.S. Gould, one of the old settlers of this vicinity, aged 75 yrs., passed away at her home in Birmingham Jan. 17th. (Handwritten: 1918)

John Gould of Conway Springs, Kansas, was called here by the death of his mother, Mrs. E.S. Gould.
