DIED FROM FRIGHT.

Kahoka Gazette-Herald: Miss Gertrude, daughter of John Lubar, of near Winchester, was at 12 o'clock Wednesday night of last week found dead at the home of Dr. and Mrs. A.R. Black in Winchester. The Dr. and Mrs. Black had returned home at that hour of night and promptly made this distressing discovery. On the following day Dr. Reese held an inquest which resulted in a verdict of death from cause unknown. Popular opinion seems to attribute the unfortunate girl's death to fright. It is sad she was very much distressed over the conduct of a young man the evening previous, but it was thought she had been fully reassured. She was aged 22 and highly respected. It is a sad and regrettable affair. It is reported the young man in the case promptly left the county. Deceased was a domestic in the home of Dr. Black.
