SATTERTHWAITE RITES TUESDAY

Funeral services were held from the Purgh Funeral Home in Burlington Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Paul Satterthwaite, 38, who died Sunday afternoon in a Burlington hospital.

Mrs. Satterthwaite was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Gaston, and was born in Fort Madison. She left Fort Madison to take up her residence in Burlington in 1920. She was a sister of Jack Gaston who with is wife, child and a maid were killed in a car-train crash last August.

Surviving are her husband, Paul; two children, Robert, 13, and Marilyn, 10; her father, who made his home with she and her husband, and one sister, Mrs. J.H. Swazey of Seattle, Wash. Among survivors is a niece, Joyce Gaston, 2 1/2-year-old daughter of the Gastons, who recently had lived with Mr. Gaston, her grandfather, and the Satterthwaites.
