MRS. H. SHEPHERD DIES FRIDAY

Mrs. Eva Mae Shepherd, 75, 1126 1/2 Avenue G, died in her home Friday at 4 p.m. following an illness of one year.

She was born in Vernon, Iowa, on April 23, 1874, and was married to Harry A. Shepherd on Nov. 25, 1897. A local resident for 33 years, she belonged to the Christian church.

Rites

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Clements Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Bradbury officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband; four sons, Lloyd, Portland, Ore., Byrle, Donald and Stanley Shepherd, all local; one brother, Daniel Gaston, Chicago; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A brother, Hazen Gaston, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Robinson, preceded her in death.
