Clesson W. Kerr, 70, Needles, Calif., died there early today. Last rites will be in Needles.

He is survived by his wife, the former Leona Gaston, a son and daughter, Donald Kerr and Mrs. John Givens, all of Needles.

The Kerrs formerly lived in Fort Madison. He was a retired Santa Fe employe.
