Death of Mrs. Mattie DeHart

Mrs. Mattie DeHart, sister of Ganville Hanan of Keosauqua and mother of Marion DeHart of Henry township, is seriously sick with pneumonia at the home of Mrs. Margaret Thomas of Vernon. Mrs. Thomas who is now convalescing, was quite sick and Mrs. DeHart went there to nurse her and was taken down with the disease named New Year's day. Our latest word was that she seemed a little better.

LATER: Since putting in type the forgoing, death came to Mrs. DeHart, the end being at 11:30 Tuesday night. Mrs. DeHart was a good woman and she will be greatly missed by relatives and friends. We have no information as to the time of the funeral as we make up our forms. An obituary will appear in a later issue.
