Glen Gatson

FT. MADISON - Glen D. Gaston, 75, of 215 Avenue G, Fort Madison, died at 1:45 a.m. August 25, 1970 in his home after a lingering illness.

Born February 19, 1895 in Fort Madison, the son of Charles W. and Johanna Gaston, he was a lifelong resident. He was a car and furniture refinisher by trade.

On October 23, 1926 in Fort Madison, he was married to Trilby Ware, who survives. He was a member of the Methodist Churchy.

Surviving are his wife Trilby, one brother, Charles W. Gaston, Fort Madison and three nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Beryl and Floyd Gaston.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 27 in Nieters Chapel with Rev. Paul Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison. The body is at Nieters Chapel where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
