GRACE ROCKWELL

Mrs. Grace Rockwell died Friday, Sept. 26, at her home in Scottsbluff, Nebr. She was the youngest of four daughters born to Peter and Lydia Manhard of Farmington. The Manhard home was the brick cottage on the river front now occupied by Ira Adkins.

Grace was a friendly, happy girl with a smile for every one. Her education was received in the Farmington high school from which she was graduated in 1901.

After her marriage to Walter Rockwell of Farmington, Iowa, they made their home there for several years. Two of their sons, Herald and Gerald, were born there. Herald and Gerald, for the Farmington Herald, a local paper owned and operated by his grandfather, E.H. Rockwell.

They moved to Scottsbluff, Nebr., many years ago. Six years ago Mr. and Mrs. Rockwell visited their old home town together.

Mrs. Rockwell is survived by six sons: Herald of Hardin, Mont., Gerald of Morrill, Donald of Greeley, Colo., Francis, Sam and Bob, all of Scottsbluff; and by one sister, Nellie Manhard, of Los Angeles; also many relatives and friends.
